Here Is A Library
About Me

My name is Molly Wagner. I am an international school librarian, currently living in England.
My career in librarianship began in 2009 when I graduated with my MLIS degree. My first library job was in the library of a federal agency in Washington, DC, where most of my work involved cataloging and research.
In 2012, my family had the opportunity to move to England for my husband's job. When I found out that my children's primary school did not have a librarian, I began volunteering there and eventually became the school librarian. In 2017, a school librarian position at a local international school opened up, so I applied and have been there ever since.
As an international school librarian, my teaching philosophy revolves around creating a vibrant, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment. I am dedicated to nurturing a love for reading, promoting information literacy, fostering collaboration, celebrating cultural diversity, and fostering a lifelong commitment to learning.
My own topics of personal exploration are taking piano lessons, cooking, learning to sail, and developing my sewing skills. I also like to travel and visit as many libraries as I can when I am visiting new places.
